Android is a open source mobile platform based on Linux. It is very similar to iphone’s interface. This platform can be installed in any latest mobile. Google enters the mobile phone market with a powerful platform. Any mobile with Android installed is potentially a GPhone.

It was founded by Open Handset Alliance and acquired by Google.
